County Committee

The Denville Republican County Committee

The hardest-working people in Denville politics. Elected by Republican voters in each of our twelve districts, they are the party's boots on the ground.

The Denville Republican County Committee is the official local arm of the Morris County Republican Committee. Two committee members are elected by Republican voters in each of Denville's twelve voting districts. They're the neighbors who knock on your door, staff the polls, recruit and screen candidates, and vote for the leadership of the county party. It's the hardest-working, least-glamorous job in politics, and these are the people who do it for Denville.

What the committee does

Four jobs, all year long

1

Carry the message door to door

Committee members are the face of the party on their own streets. They know their neighbors and their neighbors know them.

2

Recruit and screen candidates

Before anyone's name goes on a ballot with an R next to it, the committee has vetted them and voted to back them.

3

Get out the vote

Vote by Mail drives, lawn signs, poll coverage and Election Day rides. If it helps a Republican win in Denville, the committee is behind it.

4

Represent Denville in the county party

Committee members elect the Morris County Republican Chair and vote at the county convention that endorses candidates.

Run for committee

Represent your neighborhood

A few districts have an open seat. If you're a registered Republican and want to represent your neighborhood, we'd love to talk to you.

County Committee members are elected in the June primary for two-year terms, and the next election is June 2027. Getting on the ballot takes a short petition signed by Republican voters in your district. Reach out and we'll walk you through it.
